📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Winning Ways. An electric offense performance from the Trojan soccer team catapulted them to their second consecutive victory in a 2-1 win over Nicholls. The Trojans got off to an early first-half lead as Olivia Simpson scored the first goal of her collegiate career in the 12th minute. Freshman Sofia Sasan also got in on the fun, scoring her first career goal in the 31st minute. After improving to 3-2-0 on the season, Troy will look to continue their winning ways on Sunday on the road against Southern.

🔼 Listen In. After a hard-fought matchup last Saturday, Troy football will look to return to winning ways this weekend as the team prepares to take on Memphis on the road. Hear from head coach Gerad Parker and how he feels about his team going into Saturday, as well as from a couple of Trojan players and their thoughts heading into the matchup against the Tigers.

🔼 Tough Test. In a road match against Auburn, the Trojan volleyball team put up a tough fight but fell in three sets. Tori Hester led the team in kills with 13 in the match while Amiah Butler and Olivia Kwiatkowski contributed nine kills each. The Trojans will look to regroup after falling to 2-2 as they prepare to take on Cal Poly inside Trojan Arena on Saturday at 2 p.m.

🔼 Above The Rest. In the Trojans’ first game of the season, running back Damien Taylor recorded his first career 100-yard game and forced four missed tackles. For his performance, he was named Troy’s Player of the Game. Taylor, as well as the rest of the Trojan football student-athletes, will look to replicate some of that energy this Saturday as the team prepares to take on Memphis.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is Tori Hester! After a dominant opening weekend of play, Tori Hester was named the Sun Belt Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week. The Trojan outside hitter led the conference with 68 kills in Troy's first three matches of the season. Not only is that mark atop the Sun Belt rankings, but it is third nationally and just six off the top mark in the country.
