🔼 Never Out. Troy volleyball defeated LSU in thrilling fashion over the weekend, as it rallied back from a 2-1 deficit to win in five sets. The most intense set of the match saw Troy have the chance to win seven times before finally taking the win on the eighth match point of the frame. With the Trojans leading 24-23, Tori Hester recorded her 24th kill of the match to see the deal and give the Trojans the win.

🗣️ "What a gritty team effort against a good LSU team. Our response after the third set was really important and I could not be more proud of our team's belief and composure in both the fourth and fifth sets.” - Josh Lauer, head coach

🔼 Still Work To Do. The Wolf Pack held off a rally from Troy as they snapped a five-game home winning streak with a 28-26 victory on Saturday night at The Vet. Quarterback Goose Crowder led Troy on a 9-play, 75-yard drive in 116 seconds, capped by a 16-yard touchdown pass to Devote Ross to get the game within two points, but Troy’s two-point conversion was unsuccessful, and Nevada recovered the ensuing onside kick to close out the game.

🗣️"Certainly not the way we want to come in and greet you all for the first time after this football game that way. We fell short. I would open by saying a wonderful thanks to our fanbase, our fans, our students and everyone who showed up and gave us a great environment to open the season for 2024. Disappointed for them that we couldn't bring them home a smile and finish the football game.” - Gerad Parker, head coach
