🔼 On A Mission. Coming off its first win of the season, Troy football gets set for its second straight home game as the Trojans welcome UL Monroe, their first Sun Belt opponent, to The Vet. Head coach Gerad Parker will look to use more of Devonte Ross after he set a Troy record last week with the most receiving yards in a game (229), adding three touchdowns to his total. On defense, linebackers Jordan Stringer and Brendan Jackson lead the team with 29 and 27 tackles and have combined for seven TFLs.

🔼 South ‘Bama Sweep. The Troy volleyball program cruised to its first conference win of the season on Thursday night, as Troy swept South Alabama 3-0 in Trojan Arena in front of the biggest crowd of the season. Tori Hester recorded 15 kills on .375 hitting and now has recorded double-digit kills in 33 straight matches. Kalina Calvillo had a strong match for Troy, as she was second on the team in kills with seven, her second most in a match this season.

🔼 All On Defense. Trojan soccer battled through the rainy conditions, including an hour-long weather delay at halftime to ultimately come away with a point in a 0-0 defensive masterclass. Jiselle Daniels, a redshirt junior forward, had Troy's best opportunity to find the goal of the day, hitting the crossbar on a free kick early in the second half. Trojan goalkeeper Une Georgsen was stellar in net saving all five Panther shots on goal and recording her third shutout of the season. Up next, the Trojans head north to West Virginia to take on Marshall for a noon start on Sunday.

🔼 Made The List. D1Baseball is unveiling its top 100 college baseball programs in the country, and the Troy Trojans came in at No. 65 on the list. Troy has been a program on the rise in the three seasons since Skylar Meade and his staff took over, as the Trojans were unranked in the last edition of D1Baseball's program rankings in 2022. The Trojans have won 77 games across the 2023 and 2024 seasons, the most in a two-year span at Troy since 2006-07.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is Troy soccer’s Une Georgsen. The Trojan goalkeeper recorded the fourth shutout of her career and her third of the season. Georgsen saved all five Georgia State shots on goal, one short of her career high. She also attempted a career-high two shots, both on free kicks.
