🔼 Service With A Smile. With only one year left, redshirt senior Leilani Guion already was going to cherish putting on her Troy women’s basketball uniform each and every game this upcoming season.

That uniform has a little extra special meaning now as this week, Guion was announced among the second class of Kay Yow Servant Leader Award winners. 

The award was created prior to the 2024-25 season to honor student-athletes who exemplify the values of leadership, selflessness and service in the fight against all cancers affecting women.

This award honors Coach Yow's legacy and the young people who carry it forward. It is presented annually to student-athletes of great character who put the needs of others before their own, who uplift others, and who do it with humility and grace. Award winners demonstrate extraordinary dedication to making a positive impact on their teams and in their communities. They are people with a servant's spirit and a commitment to selfless leadership.

🔼 Among The Elite. The local legend continues to grow for senior kicker Scott Taylor Renfroe.

Renfroe is one of 177 semifinalists across divisions of collegiate football, including 78 from the Football Bowl Subdivision. One of the best kickers in Troy history, he currently ranks third in field goal percentage (82.1) and sixth in field goals made, while checking in seventh in kicker scoring.

Troy Athletics and the National Football Foundation will honor legendary Troy head coach Larry Blakeney during the Trojans' rivalry matchup against South Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 4, at The Vet ahead of Blakeney's induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

The celebration for the all-time winningest coach in Troy and Sun Belt Conference history is in correlation with the NFF's On-Campus Salute for the upcoming members of the 2025 Hall of Fame Class. Kickoff between the Trojans and Jaguars is scheduled for 6 pm.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is junior men’s golfer Pablo Gracia, who led the Troy men’s golf program with a top-15 finish at the Destin Collegiate this past week. Gracia opened with a bogey on his second hole but responded with four birdies to just one bogey the rest of the way. The junior finished 4-under for the week, marking the second time this season he has finished under par while finishing as Troy's top bag.
