🔼 The Leg. Troy's Evan Crenshaw had another great weekend with his leg and was rewarded for his efforts as the redshirt junior was named the Sun Belt Conference Special Teams Player of the Week and earned a spot on the Ray Guy Watch List.
 
Crenshaw punted five times in Troy's come-from-behind victory at Buffalo this past Saturday, averaging 52.2 yards per punt. Three of his five kicks traveled 50-plus yards, and three were downed inside the Bulls' 20-yard line. Crenshaw's shortest kick of the game was a 43-yard boot, which was downed at the 8-yard line.

His biggest kick of the night set up Troy's game-winning touchdown in the final seconds of the fourth quarter.

🔼 Turning Up. Former Troy standout Reddy Steward is making the most of his opportunity with the Dallas Cowboys.

In his second NFL season, Steward has put together back-to-back strong performances, including a career-high six tackles in this Sunday’s trip to Chicago for the Cowboys.

The former Trojan also grabbed a TFL in the showdown with Steward’s former team.

🔼 They’re Backkkk. After a historic hoops season for both Troy programs last year, the Trojans officially returned to practice this week to prepare for the upcoming 2025-26 campaigns.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is redshirt junior punter Evan Crenshaw. On Tuesday, he was named the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week after his performance in Troy’s road win at Buffalo. Through four games this season, Crenshaw has 11 punts of 50-plus yards and 11 punts (50 percent) downed inside the 20-yard line. Last season, Troy had just one punt that topped the 50-yard mark and 11 punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
