🔼 Road Rally. That flight home was quite a happy one for the Trojans.

Troy scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to rally past Buffalo, 21-17, in non-conference action Saturday at UB Stadium. It's the Trojans' largest comeback since 2022

Tucker Kilcrease rushed for a touchdown and completed another in the deciding quarter, while the Trojan defense held Buffalo to just 57 yards on its four drives in the final quarter.

The game-winning drive became the Tae Meadows show, as the junior running back carried the ball five times for 40 yards, including a 20-yard burst on third-and-4 for his second touchdown of the season. The score gave the Trojans a 21-17 lead with 45 seconds remaining.

Kilcrease completed 14-of-24 passes for 148 yards and the one touchdown, while Ui Ale made his first appearance of the season, completing 5-of-10 passes for 54 yards. RaRa Thomas finished with five receptions for 78 yards, his most since the 2022 season, while Meadows rushed for 68 yards on 14 carries.

🔼 Opening Act. As they have the past three seasons, the Troy women’s tennis squad kicked off their fall campaign with a trip to the Samford Invitational.

The Trojans had a strong showing over the three days, piling up 12 singles victories and five doubles wins to highlight their trip.

Making just his third collegiate start, Kilcrease lead a comeback for the ages, rallying for 21 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Trojans to a 21-17 victory at Buffalo. Kilcrease threw a TD and rushed for another in the deciding quarter in the win.
