🔼 Protect This House. For the first time this month, the Troy Volleyball squad returns home to Trojan Arena, beginning tomorrow night when Murray State rolls into town.
Hosting its second home tournament of the 2026 season, the Trojan Invitational brings Murray State (Thursday at 6), The Citadel (Friday at 6:30) and Northwestern State (Saturday at 3:30) to Troy.
Back in August, the Trojans took two of three at the season-opening Troy Invitational.
🔼 Hitting The Road. After earning the program’s first 2-0 start to a season since 2013, Troy hits the road for a major challenge this Saturday, heading to Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Mo., to take on 20th-ranked Missouri.
This marks the fifth all-time meeting between the two programs and first since 2019.
The last time Troy faced a nationally-ranked Missouri squad, the Trojans pulled out a 24-14 upset of 19th-ranked Mizzou back in 2004.
Kickoff on Saturday night is set for 6 p.m.
🔼 Roberta In The Red. Carding 14 birdies on the week, first-year standout Roberta Alvarez earned a sixth-place finish to pace the Troy women’s golf squad at the Pirate Collegiate Classic.
The Trojans finished eighth overall but continued to show improved play, totaling an 882, which would have been their best score in any tournament last season.
Troy golfers combined for three rounds under-par in the tournament – thanks to two on Monday from Alvarez – pushing its season total to three through two events, already a third of last year's total.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is fourth-year defensive standout Donnie Smith. He has lived up to the preseason hype, picking up a sack in each one of Troy’s first two games of the 2026 season. Over his past 10 games dating back to last season, Smith has 10 total sacks for the Trojans.
Trojans Top Performance is brought to you by Conecuh Sausage. Conecuh Sausage is made in Alabama, it’s great on the grill and a fan favorite for tailgating. Conecuh Sausage, the Official Sausage of Troy Athletics.
