🔼 New Foe Unlocked. Troy added to its future non-conference football schedule, announcing a home-and-home series with Louisiana Tech in 2030 and 2032. Troy will host the Bulldogs at The Vet on Sept. 14, 2030, in the opening game of the series, which will be the first-ever meeting between the schools. Louisiana Tech will host the Trojans in Ruston, La., on Sept. 25, 2032.

Last season, running back Kimani Vidal set the single-game rushing record after tallying 248 yards on the ground against Stephen F. Austin in the season opener. It was just the start of Vidal’s dominant performances as the backfield master finished the season with two other top-five all-time single-game rushing performances (245 yards vs. Arkansas State & 233 yards vs. App State).
