Good morning! He’s golden! A big congratulations is in order for Troy alum Vincent Hancock who won a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in skeet shooting. He became just the sixth Olympian ever to win four gold medals in the same event.

🔼 Feeling Good. Troy Football is now in the thick of fall camp, and defensive coordinator Dontae Wright is excited with what he sees so far from his group heading into the 2024 season. Check out his post-practice interview following day three of camp.
🔼 Going Pro. Coming off a senior season in which he was named All-Sun Belt First Team, Christyon Eugene has signed a professional contract with CS Rapid București in Romania. The now-former Trojan heads to the country’s capital of Bucharest to help lift his new team to a title in which the club finished sixth a season ago.

In his three seasons with Troy, the Trojans put together a strong record of 60-37 (34-18 SBC), which included an appearance in the CBI Tournament. He averaged 25.4 minutes per game while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 40.1 percent from 3-point range while a member of the Trojans, and finished his career with 49 games in double figures.
🔼 Ready To Rock. It isn’t tailgate season at Troy without a little bit of live music before kickoff. The Horn Beverage Tailgate Concert Series is back for another season with a concert in Tailgate Terrace before each of Troy's six home games at The Vet this fall. The lineup includes The Park Band, The Springs, POPulus, Johnny Barron and the Waterfall Band and 12Eleven.

Heading into the season, a pair of Trojans will share the No. 26 on the back of their jersey. On the offensive side of the ball, running back DeWhitt Betterson Jr. will don the jersey number coming into his sophomore season. On defense, cornerback Dorion Jackson will wear the number 26.
