🔼 Leaders of the Pack. Finding a replacement for any position is no easy task, but first-year head coach Gerad Parker had the tough task of replacing one of the most important positions on the field, the quarterback. Troy's quarterback room is deep; however, they lack on-field experience. The five quarterbacks on the roster only have a combined 21 passing attempts at the DI FBS level.
🏈 Redshirt junior Goose Crowder was named the Week 1 starter for the Trojans. Crowder appeared in three games for the Trojans last season, completing nine of thirteen passes for 94 yards and a score.
🏈 Junior Matthew Caldwell is a player to watch after two seasons with Gardner-Webb. Caldwell started nine games over three years at the FCS level, where he threw for 1,450 yards and eight touchdowns.
