🔼 Starting Things Off. As the 2024-25 season kicks into gear, Trojan Athletics has a busy first week with a couple of big events on the docket.
⚽️ Trojan soccer will compete in its first regular season game of the season against Eastern Washington on Thursday, August 15 at 6 p.m. All fans will be able to meet the Troy Soccer team after the match and have 2024 Troy Soccer posters signed by the team.
🏈 On Saturday, Troy will host Football Fan Day at The Vet where fans will be able to watch the open portion of Troy Football practice before having the opportunity to meet the team and receive signed posters on the field.
🎉 Saturday night features the Football Kickoff Party in Trojan Arena complete with live music, complimentary food and beverages and a silent auction with prizes including the $10,000 Grand Prize.
🔼 New Roles. Troy Baseball announced the addition of one of the nation's top recruiters, Ryan Fineman, to be the Trojans' new recruiting coordinator and assistant coach. Additionally, Ben Wolgamot was promoted to associate head coach, Adam Godwin was promoted to outfield and base running coordinator and Joe Bialkoski was promoted to director of player development and operations.

🔼 Tee Time. Registration is now open for the Trojan Cup Troy Golf Fundraiser which benefits both of Troy’s golf programs. The fundraiser will be held on September 20 at Troy Country Club where a lunch and team auction will be held before the shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
🔼 Pump Up The Jams. Troy Athletics is turning over the aux cord to the fans for the 2024 football season. Fans and students can request their favorite stadium anthem by submitting their request and have an increased connection to Gameday at The Vet. Fan-submitted songs will be played at various moments on Gameday, from when the gates to The Vet open to key moments of the game.

In the 1996 season, wide receiver Joe Jackson set the single-season record for most rushing touchdowns in a season after punching the ball in the endzone 17 times. Jackson helped lead the Trojans to a 12-2 overall record, a Southland conference title and a top-five ranking in the national polls.
