We are 3️⃣1️⃣ Days Away From Kickoff, Trojan Fans!
It’s the perfect time to throw it back to 2022, when Troy hosted Army in front of a Veterans Memorial Stadium record crowd of 31,010 fans!
That historic season saw the Trojans host and win the Sun Belt Championship Game for the first time, reach 12 wins at the FBS level for the first time, and finish ranked in a major poll for the first time in program history, checking in at No. 19 in the AP Top 25!

🔼 Spirited Success. Success breeds success at Troy, and the "Trojan Spirit" fueled the most successful year in school history! Football claimed the Sun Belt West Division title, men's basketball repeated as regular season and tournament champions, women's basketball won 25 games, and baseball made a magical run to the College World Series after hosting and winning the program's first Super Regional. From the football staff hyping up the Riddle-Pace Field crowd to a coaches' group text full of encouragement, the alignment across Trojan Athletics has the entire university dreaming big.
🔼 Homecoming Celebration. Troy is rolling out the red carpet for Homecoming 2026! When the Trojans host Louisiana Tech at The Vet on Nov. 7, the celebration will honor the 1996 Football Southland Conference Champions, who posted a 12-2 record and reached the FCS Playoff semifinal, alongside the 1976 men's golf and 1986 women's golf National Champions.
Past SGA Presidents, Homecoming Queens, and T-Roys will also be recognized, with each honoree eligible for up to four complimentary tickets. Add in the downtown parade and tailgating, and it's a day steeped in Trojan tradition.
🔼 New Episode. Fifth-year quarterbacks Goose Crowder and Tucker Kilcrease join Gavan Baxley on a new episode of Trojan Talk to talk about entering their last fall camp in a Troy uniform.

🔼 Snap Star. Troy long snapper Colton Walls has landed on the Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List, honoring the nation's top long snapper! Entering his fourth year with the Trojans and third as the starter, Walls has 26 career starts and played a key role in Troy's punting success.
🔼 Scholar on the Green. Troy's Lee Poppell is excelling everywhere! The rising senior was named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America after a junior season that saw him post a 72.06 stroke average while leading the Trojans with 15 under-par rounds, and carrying a 3.75 GPA in sport management.
Troy long snapper Colton Walls has landed on the Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List, honoring the nation's top long snapper! Entering his fourth year with the Trojans and third as the starter, Walls has 26 career starts and played a key role in Troy's punting success — the Trojans ranked 11th nationally in net punting last season while Evan Crenshaw earned multiple First Team All-America honors. Walls joins Crenshaw, a Walter Camp Preseason All-America Second Team pick, on Troy's growing list of 2026 preseason honorees!
