🔼 Raising The Bar. Troy University Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins Jr. and Troy Athletics Director Kyle George announced a landmark partnership with Troy Bank & Trust on Monday ahead of a launch party and press conference in the Stadium Club of Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The partnership is the first of its kind at the Group of Six level, making Troy Bank & Trust the official jersey patch sponsor for all 16 of Troy's athletic programs, plus logo placement on all coaches' in-game apparel beginning with the 2026-27 athletic season.
🔼 Lock ‘Em In. Troy's final three home football games this season will all kickoff at 3 p.m. at The Vet; kick times are subject to change the week prior if selected for a nationally televised broadcast.
The newly released kick times are for Troy's games against ULM (Oct. 25), Louisiana Tech (Nov. 7) and Georgia Southern (Nov. 21).
The Trojans open the 2026 season on Sept. 5, hosting Sam Houston at 6 p.m., then host Alabama State the following Saturday (Sept. 12) at 3 p.m. Troy opens Sun Belt play against Southern Miss on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the Vet in a nationally televised game on ESPN2.
🔼 O Captain, My Captain. When the Troy Football team takes the field next Saturday for its season opener, the Trojans will do so led by four captains for the upcoming season.
This week, head coach Gerad Parker announced its team captains for the 2026 season. Goose Crowder, Ty Clemons, Donnie Smith and Luke Petit will all wear the “C” on their chests this fall for the Trojans.

A steady presence on the Troy offense over the past two seasons, #1️⃣0️⃣ Tucker Kilcrease has given the Trojans a spark when called upon.
Over the past two years, he’s played in 18 games, throwing for 1,914 yards and 12 TDs, while rushing for 244 more yards and scoring five rushing TDs.
Last year, he led a historic comeback for the Trojans in a thrilling 48-41 overtime win over Texas State. He was named the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week and SBC Offensive Player of the Week after he completed 30-of-39 passes for 415 yards and five touchdowns in that victory.
