🔼 Just Getting Started. Head Coach Jake Wyman earned the first win at the helm of the Troy soccer program on Sunday afternoon, as the Trojans defeated Stetson, 2-0 in the home opener. 

Troy scored its goals courtesy of a header from Madisyn Marchesi and a perfectly placed shot into the top-left corner by Isabella Hartofelis. Defensively, Marchesi and Imani Hamilton anchored a backline that stifled the Hatters' offensive attack throughout the match.

🔼 And Another One. Defensive menace Donnie Smith added another line to his resume late last week.

Smith, who was named the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Defensive Player of the Year earlier this summer, was named to the Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List, which is given annually to the best defensive player in the country.

Last season, Smith led the Sun Belt and ranked eighth nationally last season with 11 sacks. He was one of just 13 players nationally with 10 sacks, 10 tackles for loss and 40 tackles, and he was second in the country with a sack in nine games.

🔼 They’re Backkkkk. Coming off a historic run to the College World Series this past spring, the Troy Baseball program returned to the diamond for the first time this fall.

Returning a bevy of talent mixed with a highly-touted group of newcomers, the Trojans are prepping to make even more noise next spring.

We are 1️⃣2️⃣ Days Away From Kickoff, Trojan Fans!

Arriving at Troy prior to the 2019 season, Reggie Todd was a weapon for the Trojans over the next three seasons, piling up 1️⃣2️⃣ career TDs in just 30 games.

In his career at Troy, Todd piled up 104 catches for 1,487 yards.
