Lots of memories flood back when Troy fans here the name Omar Haugabook.

Haugabook lit up the Trojan record books and became on of the most decorated players in Troy’s FBS history. He was a two-time Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year, leading the conference in completions, completion percentage and total yards in both 2006 and 2007.

He helped lead the Trojans to a victory in the 2006 New Orleans Bowl over Rice.

🔼 Bigger Than Football. For Jabari Strait, the road to Troy was anything but a straight line.

The Birmingham native moved around throughout his childhood, living in several communities in the area before eventually finding stability in high school. Football became a constant through those changes, giving Strait an outlet, a group of people around him, and eventually a path toward college. What began as a way to earn a college education has grown into something much bigger for the Troy senior.

🔼 He’s Backkkk. After a long three months of rehab, former Trojan standout Brandon Lockridge is back with the Milwaukee Brewers, who currently spot the best record in all of Major League Baseball.

Suffering a knee injury in early May, Lockridge returned to the lineup earlier this month and has played in seven games since his return as the Brewers eye a playoff spot and another run at the NL Central Division title.

In 37 games this year, Lockridge is hitting .268 with 12 RBIs and six stolen bases for the Brew Crew.

🔼 Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. The long wait is almost over.

The first home event of the 2026-27 Troy Athletics calendar is almost here as the Trojan Soccer squad is set to welcome Stetson to town on Sunday, August 23rd for its home opener.

Following the match, fans can head down to the pitch to meet the team and get their official 2026 Troy soccer schedule poster signed!
