We are 5️⃣9️⃣ Days Away From Kickoff, Trojan Fans!

Last year, there’s no one who could have questioned the toughness of Troy QB Goose Crowder.

After being sidelined in 2024 with an early season injury, Crowder returned to the starting role in 2025, but suffered another injury that caused him to miss seven weeks of action last fall.

Crowder did play in eight games last fall for the Trojans, completing 5️⃣9️⃣% of his passes, tossing for 1,327 yards and 11 TDs.

🔼 Preseason Praise. Coming off another Bowl trip and a spot in the Sun Belt Championship game last year, the Troy football team is once again entering the fall with high expectations.

This week, 10 Trojans were recognized by Athlon Sports with spots on the Preseason All-Sun Belt squads.

Jordan Jones, Donnie Smith and Evan Crenshaw were all named to the First Team, while Goose Crowder earned a spot on the Second Team. Elijah Prather and Bryce Steele were both Third Team members, while Howard Kinchen, Ty Clemson, Luke Hodge and Justin Powe were all recognized on the Fourth Team.

🏈 The 2026 Troy Football Schedule

🔼 Cheering Their Hearts Out. Troy Cheer is back with another pair of youth clinics prior to Troy Football games this fall.

The first clinic is scheduled for the season opener against Sam Houston (Sept. 5), and the second on Homecoming against Louisiana Tech (Nov. 7).
 
Open to youth ages 5-12; participants will receive a ticket to the game, attend a pregame cheer clinic with the Troy Cheerleaders, take part in Trojan Walk, participate in an on-field performance with the Troy Cheerleaders and receive a 2026 Cheer Clinic T-shirt (must register by July 30 and Oct. 9, respectively, to receive the T-shirt).
