That’s right Troy family, the start of the 2025 football season is getting closer and closer!

Did you know that the program’s all-time record for total yards of offense in a single-game was from legendary QB Sim Byrd, when he compiled 5️⃣4️⃣5 yards against Samford in 1968.

In the game, Byrd was responsible for six TDs against the Bulldogs.

🔼 Breakout Season Loading. Goose Crowder isn't just another quarterback chasing the spotlight—he's the kind of player who fights for every inch, on and off the field.

Known to just about everyone as "Goose," a nickname that stuck since childhood thanks to a Top Gun obsession and an older brother with a sense of humor, Crowder's journey took a dramatic turn last season. What began as a long-awaited opportunity to start under center was quickly derailed by back-to-back injuries that could've knocked the wind out of any athlete.

But Goose? He didn't fold.

🔼 Super Seven. Last week, the Troy track & field programs earned seven nods to the CSC Academic All-District Team with Jack Anderson and Keith Warner on the men's side and Kady Schwietz, Abby Grosinske, Whitney Clark, Jordan Bailey and Alejandra Gutierrez Fuente for the women.
