The annual Football Kickoff Party is coming up on Saturday, August 16 in
Trojan Arena! The premier event features a $10,000 grand prize, food and
beverages, a silent auction, a live auction and live music. Tickets are $150

🔼 They’reeee Backkkkk. Troy Football opens its 2025 fall camp THIS MORNING on the grass practice fields behind Trojan Arena after the Trojans report back to campus Tuesday afternoon.

Camp consists of 11 practices and a scrimmage before classes begin on Troy's campus on August 13, all leading up to Troy's season opener on Aug. 30 against Nicholls in The Vet.

"Our players and staff have worked extremely hard this summer preparing for this moment," head coach Gerad Parker said. "Everything we've done since January has been intentional and has a direct correlation to something we will do in fall camp to ensure our entire operation is prepared to take the field on Aug. 30."

Fall camp will be split into three four-practice sessions, with the bulk of the practices taking place in the morning.

🔼 Back To Work. The Troy football squad isn’t the only one back on the field as the Trojan soccer squad took to the pitch for their first official practice of the 2025 preseason.

Troy will have two exhibitions (at Alabama A&M - Aug. 7 and at Kennesaw State - Aug. 10) before kicking off (no pun intended) their regular season on August 14th at Murray State.

🔼 It’s Real And It’s Spectacular. Yup, it’s absolutely true.

This week, Troy Athletics, in partnership with longtime supporter Horn Beverage and Folklore Brewing and Meadery, proudly unveiled Blakeney's Brew, Troy's second officially licensed craft beer for Trojan fans to enjoy beginning this fall.

Named in honor of Troy's legendary football head coach Larry Blakeney, who will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in December. Blakeney's Brew, a malty American Amber Ale, will officially debut to the public at Troy Football's season opener against Nicholls on Aug. 30 in The Vet. 

Trojan fans can enjoy this 5.8% ABV beverage in 12-ounce cans at The Vet throughout the season. Following the initial in-stadium rollout, Blakeney's Brew will be available in stores and restaurants in the Wiregrass region. All sales of Troy's officially licensed beer will directly benefit Troy University and Troy Athletics.

Just 3️⃣1️⃣ Days To Kickoff, Trojan Fans!

Looking for a breakout year, #3️⃣1️⃣ Shemar Welch is ready for fall camp.

Welch played in only four games last season for the Trojans, but redshirted to return with full eligibility this season.

In a reserve cornerback role, Welch played 36 defensive snaps, picking up three tackles for the Trojans.

The Mobile, Ala. native arrived in Troy after a All-Conference career at McGill-Toolen.
