🔼 Be Kind And Rewind. Championships. Historic performances. Exciting moments.

All of that and much, much more filled the 2024-25 year for the Trojans.

Let’s take a look back at the year that was for Troy Athletics.

🔼 Relentless Pursuit. By any measure, Luis Medina's path through college football hasn't been smooth. It's been a winding road lined with bruises, setbacks and leadership moments forged in adversity.

And yet, here he is in 2025, returning to Troy for another season. Not for glory, not for stats, but to finish something he never truly saw as complete.

In an era where college athletes transfer schools almost as often as they change cleats, Medina's loyalty to Troy is rare. This will be his sixth year with the program, a tenure that has seen COVID-19 disruptions, a season-ending injury, and three head coaches. Still, he never walked away.

He never even hesitated.

🔼 State Of The Nation. What’s been happening this summer? How are the Trojans handling the changing landscape of college athletics? Anything exciting on the horizon?

All of that and much more are in the latest episode of Trojan Talk as Barry McKnight sits down with Director of Athletics Brent Jones to talk all things Trojans.

Just 3️⃣3️⃣ Days To Kickoff, Trojan Fans!

34-1 = 3️⃣3️⃣

Ok, ok… we’re bending the rules a bit, but for Leodis McKelvin, that’s what we’re going to do.

McKelvin became Troy’s first Football Bowl Subdivision All-American in 2007.

A native of Waycross, Ga., he was the only player in the nation to return three punts for touchdowns that season.

He also led the Trojans in all-purpose yardage with 1,192 despite not having taken an offensive snap all season. He had 436 yards on 25 punt returns and 765 more yards on 3️⃣3️⃣ kickoffs, recording an impressive 23.2 kickoff return average.

McKelvin finished his Trojan career with seven career combined punt and kickoff returns for touchdowns, one shy of the all-time NCAA record.

🤔 TROY TRIVIA

In the 2007 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills made Leodis McKelvin the 11th overall pick in the first round.

That selection tied which former Trojan for the highest-ever selection by a Troy alum in the NFL draft?
