Just 3️⃣8️⃣ Days To Kickoff, Trojan Fans!
It was quite a Homecoming for the Trojans last fall as they gashed Coastal Carolina to the tune of 3️⃣8️⃣-24 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Coastal had no answer for Damien Taylor and Gerald Green, who combined for 313 yards on the ground. Taylor rushed for 190 yards on 28 carries, while Green added 123 yards on 19 carries, plus an 83-yard touchdown reception.
It was the first Sun Belt victory in the Gerad Parker era as the Trojans piled up 342 yards on the ground in the contest.

🔼 Preseason Praise. Even with kickoff a few weeks away, the Trojans are already gaining praise in the preseason.
This week, Troy landed four players on the Sun Belt Preseason All-Conference Team.
Offensive lineman Eli Russ, spear Devin Lafayette, defensive tackle Luis Media and kicker Scott Taylor Renfroe all earned spots on the second team. Russ, Lafayette and Medina return to the All-SBC team following postseason honors in 2024, while Renfroe is making his first-ever appearance on an All-SBC team.
Troy players report to campus July 29 and fall camp starts the following morning on July 30.
🔼 She’s Bacckkk. Last week, it was the Troy baseball program getting to key returners back for next year.
This week, it’s the Troy women’s hoops squad, who got the news that veteran guard Ashley Baez will be back for the 2025-26 season.
Baez was a critical piece to the Trojans run to the WNIT finals last year and 24 victories. She started 34 of Troy’s 38 games, averaging 9.3 points, 3.2 rebounds. 1.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Season tickets start at $75 for all six home games at The Vet. This year’s schedule features all six home games on Saturdays and marquee match-ups against Memphis, South Alabama and more. Purchase your season tickets now by visiting www.TroyTrojans.com/Tickets or call the Troy Athletics Ticket Office at (334) 670-3681.
