A breakout star to potentially keep your eye on this fall would be #4️⃣5️⃣ Jordan Ferrell, a 6-4, 225-pound edge/linebacker combo that showed flashes last season, playing in four games for the Trojans.
Prior to his time at Troy, Ferrell was a JUCO standout at Central Georgia Tech, where he ranked in the top-10 in the nation in sacks (nine), 52 tackles, six TFLs and one safety.

🔼 In Good Hands. This week, Troy QB Tucker Kilcrease was recognized as the Trojans’ nominee for the Allstate Good Works Team.
The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team recognizes college football student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service, academics and athletics. Established in 1992 and presented by Allstate since 2008, the program honors players who use their platforms to strengthen communities and support causes important to them.
🔼 Honoring Legends. Who doesn’t love celebrating championships?
That’s exactly what Troy Athletics will be doing not once, not twice, but three times this fall.
On Sept. 12, the Trojans will take on Alabama State at The Vet and will honor the 1986 Gulf South Championship squad.
The celebration will be the first of three this fall, with Troy set to honor the 1996 Southland Conference champions on Nov. 7 and the 2006 Sun Belt champions on Nov. 21.
