And much, much more!

We are 4️⃣7️⃣ Days Away From Kickoff, Trojan Fans!

It was a big time start to the 2020 season back on September 19th in Murfreesboro, Tenn. as the Trojans rolled to a 4️⃣7️⃣-14 victory over MTSU in the season opener.

After the two teams traded scores in the first quarter, Gunnar Watson and the Troy offense went to work scoring 40 unanswered points en route to a dominant victory over the Blue Raiders.

Countdown to Kickoff is brought to you by Conecuh Sausage. Conecuh Sausage is made in Alabama, it’s great on the grill and a fan favorite for tailgating. Conecuh Sausage, the Official Sausage of Troy Athletics.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Grillin’ It Up. Fans wanting to elevate their tailgate for the upcoming Troy Football season can secure their spots in Tailgate Terrace with limited single-game and season packages still available.

Troy is coming off its third Sun Belt West Division title in the last four seasons and was picked to win the league again in the preseason vote by the Sun Belt head coaches last week.

The Trojans' home slate features key Sun Belt tilts against Southern Miss, Georgia Southern, ULM and Louisiana Tech, plus non-conference matchups against Alabama State and Sam Houston.

🔼 Stock Up. Troy head football coach Gerad Parker made it clear during the Sun Belt Conference Media Days in New Orleans that winning the league championship - not just getting to the title game - is the objective.

The Trojans are the preseason pick to win the West Division after finishing with an 8-6 overall mark last year, 6-2 in Sun Belt play, which included winning the division, playing in the SBC Championship Game and in the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl.

All impressive, but more is sought.

🔼 On The Mend. With the second half of the MLB season underway, former Troy standout Brandon Lockridge is on the mend.

Lockridge went on the injured list in early May with a knee injury, but is set to begin his minor league rehab assignment on Wednesday of this week, with hopes to rejoin the big league club by early August for the Brew Crew’s playoff push.
