Six weeks til kickoff, Trojan Fans!

One of the best stories on this year’s Trojan football squad will have a new digit this fall as junior safety Justin Powe will be donning #6️⃣ when Troy hits the field in 2025.

After arriving to Troy as a walk-on, Powe worked his way to earning a scholarship at the end of fall camp last year.

In 2024, Powe started all 12 games for the Trojans, finishing third on the team with 67 tackles, picking up two INTs and breaking up four passes in his first season as a full-time starter.

🔼 He’s Bacckkk. Just a few days after having four former Trojans earn spots in MLB organizations, the Troy baseball squad got more good news as Steven Meier announced he will be returning for one more year with the Trojans.

This past spring, Meier started 57 games for Troy, leading the way in runs scored (60) and stolen bases (24), while ranking second on the team in average (.300) and third in HRs (8).
