🔼 Dreams Become Reality. It was a dream that they’ve had since they were old enough to hold a baseball.
On Monday, that dream became reality for four of our own.
Brooks Bryan was the first Trojan taken in the 2025 MLB Draft when the veteran backstop was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the eighth round. Noah Edders followed in the 15th round to the Chicago Cubs and three rounds later, Jay Dill was drafted by the Athletics.
Just a few hours later, a fourth Trojan became a pro when Adam Falinski signed a free agent deal with the Twins.
🔼 Going Global. The Troy baseball program wasn’t the only team celebrating their own reaching the professional ranks this week.
After helping the Trojans women’s basketball team to a runner-up finish in the 2025 WNIT Tournament, Brianna Jackson inked a professional deal with the Verstärkt den sytainics MBC team in Germany.
The Verstärkt den sytainics MBC team is based in Bundesliga, Germany, as a member of the European North Basketball League. They have players from America, Germany, and Austria.
A 6-3 forward, Jackson started in 29 games for the Trojans (38 appearances) for 9.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks.
