32 of those 5️⃣2️⃣ touchdowns came from Barker with 30 passing TDs and two rushing TDs from the Decatur, Ala., native.

🔼 Taking The Stage. Football season is officially getting closer when its time for Sun Belt Football Media Days.

The two-day event kicks off today in New Orleans with the Trojans taking the stage at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. Head Coach Gerad Parker, senior punter Evan Crenshaw and senior defensive lineman Donnie Smith will be on hand to represent Troy.

The multicast will feature two separate feeds—the traditional Sun Belt Football Media Days Show, which will incorporate portions of the Main Stage and Sun Belt Studio appearances from each team alongside analysis from hosts Matt Stewart and Rocky Boiman, and the Sun Belt Football Media Days Podium Feed, which will showcase the Main Stage appearances from each team in their entirety.

🔼 Preseason Praise. Before media days got underway, six Troy Football returners received Preseason All-Sun Belt recognition from the league.

Troy was picked to win the Sun Belt West Division in runaway fashion, while Donnie Smith and Evan Crenshaw were named the Sun Belt Preseason Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Year, respectively.

Additionally, Goose Crowder (QB), Jordon Jones (OL), Jordan Lovett (All-Purpose) and Justin Powe (DB) were named to the All-Sun Belt Preseason Second Team.

🔼 Academic Aces. On the court wasn’t the only place the Troy tennis teams were serving up aces this spring.

This week, both the men’s and women’s squads earned 2026 ITA All-Academic Team distinctions while a combined 14 student-athletes were named ITA Scholar Athletes.

All eight members of the 2025-26 Troy women's team earned the title of Scholar Athletes, marking the second time in the past three years the entire team has received the honor. The women's side has now earned the All-Academic Team award in five consecutive seasons.

On the men's side, the Trojans earned the All-Academic Team honor for the eighth-straight year.
