Seems like a perfect time to throw it back to the 1968 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Led by a record-setting aerial attack and a defense that recorded four shutouts, the Red Wave claimed the 1968 NAIA National Championship with a 43-35 victory over Texas A&I at Cramton Bowl (Montgomery, Ala.).
Sim Byrd was the standout at QB, throwing for over 3500 yards and 41 TDs that season, while Ronnie Shelley anchored the defense with 15 INTs.

🔼 One Of A Kind. Football isn’t just a game for the boys anymore.
One of the fastest rising sports in the country right now is girls flag football and the Trojans are jumping into it as last week, Coach Parker and the Troy football program became the first program in the state to host a girls flag football camp.
AND a less than a month from today, the Trojans will host their annual Women’s Football Clinic on July 17th.
🔼 Welcome Home. It may be only a few weeks into the offseason, but the Troy softball program is already busy reloading for 2026.
On Friday, head coach Eric Newell announced the addition of three impact transfers that will join an already loaded class, which includes Sophia Jenkins, who recently was named a JUCO All-American for 2025.
Ella Cunningham (P/1B, Michigan State) and Kalee Rochinski (C, Texas-San Antonio) and Amity White (OF, South Alabama) have all signed with the Trojans over the summer and will be on campus this fall.
Jenkins earned NJCAA All-America honors after hitting .438 with 30 home runs, 108 RBIs and 14 doubles as a sophomore at Grayson College. She finished the year with an eye-popping 1.452 OPS as she finished second nationally in both home runs and RBIs.
