🔼 A Run To Remember. The 2026 Troy Baseball team will forever live in history.

The Trojans’ magical run to the College World Series came to a close on Tuesday with a loss to No. 16 national seed West Virginia.

Troy's unforgettable postseason run concluded with a 7-3 record in the NCAA Tournament. After dropping its regional opener, the Trojans rattled off four consecutive wins to capture the Gainesville Regional, swept Little Rock in the first-ever Troy Super Regional, and went 1-2 in Omaha, highlighted by the program's first-ever College World Series victory over Ole Miss on Sunday.

🔼 The Build Continues. This week, Head Coach Adam Howard continued building his inaugural Troy men’s basketball staff with the hiring of veteran coach Kyle Roane.

A coach with more than 30 years of experience, Roane most recently spent four seasons as the associate head coach at Southeastern Louisiana, marking his third stint with the program. 

During his time at SLU, Roane played a key role in the development of multiple Southland Conference award winners, including Student-Athlete of the Year Nick Caldwell (2023-24), Newcomer of the Year Sam Hines Jr. (2024-25) and Freshman of the Year Jeremy Elyzee (2024-25). He also helped guide the Lions to a winning season in 2023-24 and a first-round bye in the Southland Conference Tournament.

We are 8️⃣0️⃣ Days Away From Kickoff, Trojan Fans!

Wearing #80, Troy Football legend Virgil Seay became the first Trojan in program history to hoist the Lombardi Trophy when he and his Washington Redskins teammates defeated the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XVII (Jan. 30, 1983).

As a member of Troy’s 1978 and 1979 Gulf South Conference teams that finished 9-3 combined in league play, Seay left his mark on the Troy history book when he returned three punts for touchdowns against West Alabama in 1979. The same night, he also set a Troy single-game record with 215 punt return yards; both records still stand.

He was dangerous as a wide receiver, but even more so as a kick and punt returner. He holds the Troy career record as he averaged 16.7 yards per punt return over his two-year career. The native of Moultrie, Ga., returned 47 punts for 783 yards and five touchdowns for the Trojans. His five touchdowns are the second most in Troy history.
