🔼 Desert Bound. The dream is becoming closer and closer for Troy junior Brooks Bryan.
This week, the Trojan backstop will head to the desert as he was selected to participate in the fifth-annual MLB Draft Combine at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, from June 17-21.
Bryan, a catcher from Opelika, Ala., is a two-time All-Sun Belt selection and smashed Troy's RBI record with 85 as a sophomore last season. Bryan became the first Trojan to compete with the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team last summer, along with being named a 2024 Golden Spikes Award Semifinalist and to the 2025 Buster Posey Catcher of the Year Award midseason watch list.
322 draft-eligible prospects have accepted invitations to the event, including 174 of MLB Pipeline's Top 200 Draft Prospects. MLB Network will have exclusive coverage of the event on Tuesday, June 17, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT, featuring a complete broadcast of the event and breakdowns from MLB Network analysts.

🔼 Card Approved. After a historic spring season for Brantley Scott and the Troy men’s golf program, Scott kept things going this weekend.
Playing in the PGA Tour Americas qualifier in Dothan, Scott had a huge finish in the fourth round to sit at 14-under for the weekend, good for sixth overall and earn his PGA Tour Americas card as the tour enters its North American swing later this summer.

🔼 Fresh Face. Following yet another strong season in 2024-25, Coach Rigby and the Troy women’s hoops team are loading up for even more in 2025-26.
Late last week, the Trojans announced its eighth addition to the upcoming roster with the signing of Kamesha Moore from Florida Memorial.
A 5-8 guard, Moore led Florida Memorial to the SUN Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championship with an 89-63 win over SEU to punch a ticket to the NAIA National Tournament. Alongside SUN Coach of the Year Kevin Herod, the Lions finished 24-5, 13-3 SUN, and won their first-round matchup of the NAIA Tournament over Indiana NW 85-76.
Moore joins Detavia Salter, Saniya Jackson, Aniya Hubbard, Shakirah Edwards, Rachel Leggett, Marianah Mapour and Lana Koricanac.
