🔼 Troymaha Time! The time has finally come.

After what seemed to be the longest week ever, the Trojans are ready to take to the field on college baseball’s grandest stage, the College World Series in Omaha.

Two of this postseason’s darlings will meet as Troy is set to square off with the Mountaineers of West Virginia this afternoon at 1 p.m.

🔼 All-American Guy. Fresh off helping lead Troy to its first College World Series appearance, Trojan catcher Jimmy Janicki has been named a Second Team All-American by Perfect Game and a Third Team All-American by the National College Baseball Writers Association.

Janicki, the Sun Belt Player of the Year, has been one of the most productive hitters in college baseball this season. The sophomore enters the College World Series among the national leaders in RBIs (3rd - 85), doubles (5th - 24), total bases (10th - 175) and hits (11th - 92).

On the season, the Downers Grove, Ill. native is slashing an impressive .341/.413/.648, totaling the second-highest OPS in the Sun Belt Conference (1.061). Janicki's 19 home runs lead the SBC, and he's one homer shy of becoming the first player in Troy history with a 20-double, 20-homer season.

🔼 Mighty Makenna. For the past four years, Makenna Calbert left everything out on the track and course for Troy’s cross country and track & field programs. She did the same in the classroom as well.

This week, her hard work was rewarded when she was named one of eight recipients of a Sun Belt Postgraduate Scholarship.

Calbert graduated this spring with a degree in nutrition and plans to attend UAB to earn her master's degree in dietitian education.

To be eligible for Sun Belt Conference Postgraduate Scholarships, nominees must have exhausted eligibility, been declared or designated a varsity letter winner in a Sun Belt-sanctioned sport at a member institution for at least two seasons and achieved a minimum undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale).

We are 8️⃣5️⃣ Days Away From Kickoff, Trojan Fans!

Rogosch arrived in Troy from Hamburg, Germany and throughout the past four years has built himself into a crucial part of the Trojans blocking game.

He has played in 36 games, seeing 100+ offensive snaps each of the past two seasons, along with over 350+ snaps on special teams.

The redshirt senior looks to become even more a part of the Trojan offense in his final season this upcoming fall.
