🔼 Not So Fast, My Friend. The history makers wanted to stay in Troymaha a few more days.

As they’ve done all postseason long, the Trojans showed their heart once again on Sunday afternoon, scoring seven unanswered to come away with a 12-8 victory over Ole Miss and move on to a Tuesday rematch with West Virginia to stay alive in the program’s first-ever appearance at the College World Series.

With Troy down 6-2 in the fifth, the run began with a balked in run and then a two-run single by Sean Darnell, to make it 6-5.

As they’ve done all postseason long, Jimmy Janicki and Jabe Boroff helped break the game open for the Trojans in a four-run seventh as Troy went on to pick up the first-ever College World Series victory in program history.

Troy and West Virginia will now square off in an elimination game on Tuesday at 1 p.m. The Trojans are 5-0 in elimination games so far this postseason.

🔼 Sideline Addition. Another new face will be roaming the sidelines for the Troy men’s basketball squad this upcoming season.

Head Coach Adam Howard announced the hiring of assistant coach Anthony Winchester late last week.

Winchester helped guide Kansas State to a run to the 2023 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight during a four-year tenure with the Wildcats, which included three seasons as an assistant coach after beginning as the program's Director of Video Operations.

Baumhower's Victory Grille will once again serve as Troy's official Watch Party host for Troy's College World Series game against West Virginia on Tuesday. First pitch between the Mountaineers and Trojans from Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb., is set for 1 p.m.

Baumhower's Victory Grille features wall-to-wall TVs for Troy fans to watch the Trojans take on the Mountaineers in Troy's first-ever appearance in the College World Series.

We are 8️⃣2️⃣ Days Away From Kickoff, Trojan Fans!

Wearing #82 this fall for the Trojans will be an exciting young piece of the offense in wide receiver Dylan Denson.

Denson is coming off a deep playoff run with American Heritage High School, where he piled up nearly 70 catches for over 1,000 yards and 14 TDs.

He earned All-Broward County honors twice during his career and piled up 136 catches for 2,033 yards and 28 TDs with the Patriots.
