🥎 HOST WITH THE MOST

On Thursday, the Troy softball team punched their ticket to the 2025 Sun Belt Tournament.

This week, the Trojans play host as Troy welcomes the 10-team field to the Troy Softball Complex for nine-game in four-day event.

Troy will serve as the eighth seed in the tournament and will open play against #9 JMU on Wednesday night in the opening round matchup.

🔼 One Of One. Down to their final three outs, the 15th-ranked Troy baseball team once again found a way.

Sean Darnell blasted a grand slam in the ninth inning of Sunday’s series finale against South Alabama to claim the series from the Jaguars and earn the 6-5 victory.

With the series win, Troy is now the ONLY team in the entire country to have won every series this spring.

🔼 Feeling 💯. A senior day victory. A 100th career victory. Not too bad of a way to close out the regular season.

That’s how the Trojans softball squad spent their Saturday, earning a split and series victory over South Alabama. With the victory in the series finale, Troy head coach Eric Newell won his 100th victory at the helm of the Trojans.

Taylor McKinney showed out, going 3-for-5 on the day with five RBIs, three runs and three extra-base hits. The Trojans star also drew two walks on the day and tied the Troy single-season run record with her 54th run of the season.

🏈 LADIES NIGHT

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is yet again senior Taylor McKinney. McKinney went 5-for-8 with three walks to help the Trojans take the series from South Alabama and punch their ticket to this week’s Sun Belt Conference Tournament. McKinney drove in six RBIs and scored four runs on a weekend where she tied the single-season school record for runs scored with 54.

Troy Athletics, the Troy Alumni Association and Troy Admissions announced Troy's seven stops for the annual Trojan Tour presented by Guardian Credit Union on Monday afternoon. This year's event features visits to Troy, Ozark, Dothan, Enterprise, Montgomery, Birmingham and Luverne.
 
Various Troy coaches and administrators, including Director of Athletics Brent Jones, football head coach Gerad Parker, men's basketball head coach Scott Cross, women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby and baseball head coach Skylar Meade will be featured across Trojan Tour. 

Admission to all Trojan Tour socials is free; however, the baseball game in Montgomery will require a game ticket to be purchased, and some locations will require separate food purchases.
