🔼 Tourney Time. Fresh off its fourth straight 30-plus regular season, the Troy Softball team is ready for tournament time.

This week, the Trojans head to Yvette Girouard Field in Lafayette, La. for the 2026 Sun Belt Tournament. Troy enters as the No. 9 seed and will open with the home team, No. 8 Louisiana in the first round on Wednesday, May 6.

Troy clinched their postseason ticket with a game one victory over Coastal Carolina this past weekend, taking down the Chanticleers, 4-2.

🔼 Strong Finish. With just two weekend series left in the regular season, the Troy Baseball squad got a huge series-ending victory over visiting App State this past weekend.

The Trojans scored 10 unanswered runs, including an five-run eighth inning to roll past the Mountaineers, 10-3.

With the victory, Troy currently sits at fifth in the Sun Belt standings at 13-11. The Trojans are one game behind next week's opponent, South Alabama (14-10), and one game ahead of Louisiana (12-12).

🔼 Raising The Bar. The Troy Track & Field squad wrapped up its regular season this past weekend at the Music City Challenge in Nashville.

The Trojans brought home four top-three finishes, led by Jasai Taylor, who won the men’s 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 51.78.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is senior two-way specialist Drew Nelson, who picked up the win in Sunday’s series finale with App State after tossing 4.1 innings of scoreless baseball, while also adding a single and an RBI in the victory.
