🔼 Regional Ready. Now, it’s showtime!
Troy opens NCAA Tournament play tonight at 5 p.m. CT as the third-seeded Trojans face second-seeded Miami in the opening round of the Gainesville Regional.
The Trojans punched a ticket to their ninth NCAA Regional and second under head coach Skylar Meade after a 32-29 season that saw them finish with the No. 6 strength of schedule and the No. 1 non-conference strength of schedule in the country.
On the mound, Troy left-hander Benjamin Stubbs will make his 16th start of the season for the Trojans. Stubbs is coming off a strong performance against Southern Miss on Friday, limiting the Golden Eagles to two runs in five innings while striking out five.

Troy Athletics and Baumhower's Victory Grille in Troy are teaming up to host a watch party for Troy Baseball's NCAA Regional opener against Miami tonight at 5 p.m., which will be televised on ACC Network.
Baumhower's Victory Grille features wall-to-wall TVs for Troy fans to watch the Trojans take on the Hurricanes, plus other NCAA Regional action throughout the day and weekend.
🔼 Girl Power. The women of Trojan Nation took over the football facility on Thursday night.
The 14th Annual Troy Football Women’s Clinic brought together fans, community members and football enthusiasts for a behind-the-scenes look at the Trojan program. Presented by Troy Regional Medical Center and hosted by Head Coach Gerad Parker and his wife Kandi, the event drew more than 60 women to campus.
🔼 Ticket Punched. Rising Troy junior Grant Yerger qualified for the 120th Southern Amateur Championship after shooting 4-under and finishing third at his sectional qualifier on Wednesday at Tradition Golf Course in Houston, Texas.
Yerger, who earlier qualified for the Texas State Amateur Championship later this summer, shot a 68 to finish a stroke behind a pair tied for first. He, along with the two tied at the top of the leaderboard, will play in the 120th Southern Amateur Championship, July 15-18, at the Atlanta Athletic Club.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is, sophomore Aaliyah Murphy, who nearly missed advancing to the next stage at NCAA Regionals on Thursday, finishing 32 out of 48 competitors in the 400m hurdles. She was the top finisher of the five Trojans that earned an NCAA postseason berth.
