That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the resume of Troy legend DeMarcus Ware, who donned #94 during his time with the Trojans. He is the program’s all-time leader in tackles for a loss with 55.5, while also ranking second with 27 sacks during his Troy career.

🔼 Regional Ready. The Troy track & field squad is the last Trojan program on the 2024-25 athletic calendar as a trio of student-athletes are ready to take on NCAA East Preliminaries in Jacksonville tody.

Alwayne Bedward, Tydreke Thomas and Shanyah Washington all earned their spots in the postseason event, which begins this afternoon.

Bedward kicks off the meet for the Trojans when the shot put competition gets underway at 5 pm this evening. Thomas follows shortly after in the first round of the 100m dash, while Washington hits the track on Thursday evening.

🔼 Stewieeeee! After a dominant performance in the Sun Belt quarterfinals, Grayson Stewart earned a spot on the Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament Team.

Stewart put together a dominant start in third-seeded Troy's 9-4 victory against sixth-seeded Old Dominion on Friday, punching the Trojans a ticket to the semifinals where they'd eventually fall to second-seeded Southern Miss. Stewart tied a career high with 7.0 innings pitched, earning his sixth win of the season while allowing nine hits, two earned runs and zero walks while striking out seven Monarchs.

In the outing, the Dothan, Ala., native became the fifth pitcher in Troy history to record 250 career strikeouts with his sixth punchout of the game, painting a fastball on the outside corner to end the sixth inning.

Stewart helped the Trojans reach the Sun Belt semifinals with a dominant showing against Old Dominion over the weekend. The veteran tied a career high with 7.0 innings pitched, earning his sixth win of the season while allowing nine hits, two earned runs and zero walks while striking out seven Monarchs.
