🔼 Earning Their Shot. For the ninth time in program history and first time since 2023, Troy baseball has punched its ticket to an NCAA Regional.

The Trojans earned an at-large bid to the Gainesville Regional hosted by No. 8 national seed Florida. The regional also includes No. 2 seed Miami and No. 4 seed Rider. Troy will play Miami on Friday at Condron Family Ballpark. Game time is set for 5 pm CT.

Troy finished its 2026 campaign with a 32-29 record and owns the nation's No. 6 strength of schedule and the No. 1 non-conference strength of schedule. Troy is the first non-power conference team with a top ten strength of schedule since South Florida's No. 9 strength of schedule in 2018. 

🔼 Lace ‘Em Up. It’s show time for the Troy track & field program as the Trojans are set to take on NCAA East Regionals in Lexington, Ky. later today.

Tonight, Michael Eady will kick things off for the Trojans in the men's 100m at 6 pm CT. Eady was a late addition to the field on Friday. Also on the men's side, Jasai Taylor will race in the men's 400m hurdles shortly after at 7:20 pm CT. 

On Thursday, Shanyah Washington will start the day for the women in the 100m dash at 6 pm CT. Rachel Whyte will continue the evening for the Trojans in the 400m at 6:25 p.m. CT. Aaliyah Murphy will wrap things up for the Trojans in the 400m hurdles at 7:20 p.m. CT. 

🔼 Class Acts. The diamond wasn’t the only place the Trojans had success this spring.

On Tuesday, the Troy softball squad landed five selections on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. McKinnon Howard, Kiley Huffman, Kalee Rochinski, Megan Loftis and Esmee Ames were all recognized.

Troy's five selections were the maximum allowed under the current CSC Academic All-District guidelines. The Academic All-America Teams will be announced on Tuesday, June 16.
