🔼 What A Run. The 2025 Troy men’s golf squad is one that will live in the record books forever.

The first squad in program history to reach the Division I NCAA Championships. On Sunday, the team closed out its season, finishing 29th after the first three rounds of the event.

Senior Brantley Scott's season has a chance to continue on Monday depending on the outcome of the team playoff for the No. 15 spot. If Georgia Tech beats Wake Forest in a playoff, Scott will then play a four-person playoff for the final individual spot in Monday's final round. The Yellow Jackets and Demon Deacons hit the course at 10 a.m. (CT) and the individual playoff will follow if necessary. 
 
"Playing in the NCAA Championship means everything to the program," head coach Clay Bounds said. "The guys earned it. It's not the outcome that we wanted, but I'm proud of the way we fought. It's a very difficult golf course, and we'll continue to work hard and try and get back here next year. 
 
"I'm always proud of the guys, no matter how they play," Bounds said. "To get this far is truly a great accomplishment for the guys. We've worked hard all year, and I couldn't be more proud of this team."

🔼 The Waiting Game. As the only team in the country to win the first 13 series of the 2025 season, the Troy baseball squad will play the waiting game to learn their NCAA Tournament fate today.

After dropping a heartbreaker in the Sun Belt semifinals to #12 Southern Miss, the Trojans are projected to earn an at-large bid by several experts.

The full 64-team field will be announced at 11 am CST this morning on ESPN2.

🔼 Great Scott. He’s making sure his last collegiate season counts.

Troy senior Brantley Scott has been on a tear in his final year and this past weekend, he was named to the PING All-Southeast Region Team.
 
An All-Sun Belt First Team selection and No. 39 ranked player in the country, Scott played a critical role in Troy's ascension in the national rankings this spring.
 
Scott was named to the first team in the Sun Belt for the second time in his career, while the All-SBC honor was his third overall. Scott led Troy from a No. 79 ranking entering the spring (outside of the NCAA bubble) to its spot inside the number thanks to an impressive spring season.

Not only did Scott earn All-Region accolades this weekend, but the senior is on the cusp of possibly reaching the final round of the NCAA playoffs as he sits in the top-40 of the event and could advance as an individual depending on today’s playoff results.
