Trojans Wrapping Up Spring Ball This Week

Happy Hump Day Trojans. While the football season may still be a few months away, the Troy football squad are putting in their final tune ups heading into the summer months.

🔼 On The Grind. Championships are won in the offseason.

That’s the ole mantra thrown around and that’s the work that the Troy football team is putting in on the gridiron as they enter the final week of spring camp.

🔼 Chart Climbers. Coming off a historic men’s hoops season, the Trojans found themselves earning recognition as the season comes to a close.

With a trip to the NCAA Tournament and a Sun Belt Championship, the Troy men’s hoops team earned a #19 ranking in the final CollegeInsider.com Mid Major Top 25 Poll on Tuesday.

Troy made its third appearance in the NCAA Tournament this season and its first since 2017, when it took on No. 3 Kentucky in the opening round in Milwaukee. The Trojans earned their berth in March Madness after winning the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in early March.

Troy, who went 23-11, was also the Sun Belt's regular season champion and won its most games since the 2003-04 season.

🔼 Grindin’ One Out. Playing without their top golfer in Brantley Scott due to an illness, the Troy men’s golf team grinded out a fourth place finish in the Sunshine State at the Old Corkscrew Invitational in Estero, Fla.

The Trojans finished 13-over for the three rounds, just two shots back of third place.

Jake Springer and Pablo Gracia led the way for Troy, finishing in a tie for 10th-place.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is none other than Jake Springer, who grabbed yet another top-10 finish, scoring 11 birdies, the eighth most in the entire tournament field and earned a 10th place finish for the Troy men’s golf team at the Old Corkscrew Invitational in Estero, Fla.

Troy fans who purchase or renew their 2025 football season tickets by May 1 will receive a limited-edition Larry Blakeney Bobblehead to celebrate the legendary head coach's selection into the College Football Hall of Fame. 
 
Season ticket prices start as low as $75 for Troy's six home games, as prices remain the same across all levels for a third straight season. Troy's home slate features games against South Alabama, Memphis, Georgia State, Louisiana, Arkansas State and Nicholls.

Blakeney, Troy's all-time winningest coach, was selected for enshrined into the College Football Hall of Fame in January and will officially be inducted in a ceremony in Las Vegas in December.
