🔼 We’ll Take A Six Piece. One down, two to go.

The Troy offense tacked on two runs apiece in the third, fourth and fifth innings to take Thursday night's series opener against Arkansas State at Riddle-Pace Field, 6-4.

On the mound for the Trojans, senior left-hander Benjamin Stubbs worked his sixth consecutive quality start, going six innings with three earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out six.

🔼 Door Slammed. The Troy softball team opened its series at Louisiana with a 5-4 win – the Trojans' fourth-ever win at the Ragin' Cajuns home stadium.

Troy got off to a quick start with a two-run shot off the bat of Ella Cunningham in the first inning and staved off a late rally from Louisiana. The Trojans added insurance runs in the fifth and sixth innings to help fight off two late homers.

Abby Lovell went six innings in her start, holding Louisiana scoreless until the sixth. In relief, Cunningham earned her second save of the year, closing out the game.

🔼 Make It A Dozen. It’s tough to find a team hotter than the Troy men’s tennis team right now.

The Trojans won five straight singles matches to pick up their 12th consecutive victory with a 5-2 defeat of visiting Alabama State on Thursday afternoon.

🔼 Making The List. In the midst of a breakout year, Troy sophomore Jimmy Janicki was one of 50 catchers in college baseball named to the Buster Posey Award Midseason Watch List this week.

Janicki has been dominant through the first half of the 2026 campaign, leading Troy with a .339 batting average, 1.066 OPS, eight home runs and 34 RBIs. The Downers Grove, Ill., native ranks No. 18 in Baseball America's 2027 MLB Draft rankings while taking the No. 1 spot among college catchers in the 2027 draft class.

🏀 A NEW ERA IS HERE

One of the top assistant coaches in the country, Adam Howard has been named the eighth head men's basketball coach in Troy program history.

Howard brings 16 years of coaching experience to Troy and has built a reputation as one of the game's premier offensive minds and an elite recruiter. He was selected to participate in the 2023 and 2024 TopConnect Basketball Symposiums, an annual event featuring many of the nation's top assistant coaches.
