Troy Athletics, the Troy Alumni Association and Troy Admissions announced Troy's five stops for the annual Trojan Tour presented by Guardian Credit Union on Friday. This year's event features visits to Troy, Ozark, Dothan, Montgomery and Birmingham.

Various Troy coaches and administrators, including Director of Athletics Kyle George, football head coach Gerad Parker, men's basketball head coach Adam Howard, women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby, volleyball head coach Josh Lauer, softball head coach Eric Newell and baseball head coach Skylar Meade featured across Trojan Tour.

Admission to all Trojan Tour socials is free, and some locations may require a separate food purchase.

🔼 Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. With less than a month left in Sun Belt conference play, every series becomes more and more important.

That’s why picking up road series wins are even more critical and that’s exactly what the Troy Baseball squad did this weekend, using two dominant performances on the mound to take two-of-three at Marshall.

Five Trojan hurlers, led by starters Tommy Egan and Hayden Smith, held the Thundering Herd to just two runs over the final 20 innings of the series.

🔼 Earning Their Shot. A pair of Troy Football standouts are one step closer to achieving their dreams.

This weekend, Devin Lafayette (Raiders) and Ethan Conner (Jaguars) both signed free agent contracts to join the respective organizations for training camp with hopes of earning a shot on the 53-man roster come next fall.

🔼 Senior Salutin’. With only one Sun Belt series remaining, the Troy Softball squad has put themselves in position to own their own destiny.

A 10th-inning, bases-loaded walk from Presley Ivey gave Troy a 4-3 walk-off win over ULM. Her fourth walk of the game boosted the Trojans to a win over the Sun Belt-leading Warhawks on Senior Day. With the win, Troy needs just one more victory to clinch a spot in next month’s Sun Belt Tournament.

Gutsy performances from seniors Esmee Ames and Megan Loftis powered Troy in extra innings – Ames earned the win, leaving the bases loaded in the 10th and retiring the Warhawks one-two-three in the ninth. Loftis recorded Troy's third four-hit game of the season, going 4-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base.

🔼 Eyes On The Prize. Playing its best golf of the year, the Troy men's golf team heads to the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss., this week for the Sun Belt Men's Golf Championship. Play opens this morning with the first of three rounds of stroke play.

Troy is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Mossy Oak Collegiate two weeks ago, which included victories over South Alabama and Southern Miss, the No. 3 and No. 4 seeded teams heading into the SBC Championship.

The top four teams following three rounds of stroke play advance to match play to determine the Sun Belt Champion and automatic qualifier for NCAA Regionals.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is junior Hayden Smith, who tossed six shutout innings in the series finale against Marshall, leading the Trojans to a gutsy 1-0 road victory and the series win. Smith has now tossed 12.2 consecutive scoreless innings for Troy.
