⚾️ HISTORY MAKERS

With 10 straight series victories to open the season, the Troy baseball team captured history this week, earning the highest ranking in Division I program history at #15 in this week’s Baseball America Top 25 poll.
The Trojans were also ranked No. 18 by the NCBWA. No. 20 by D1Baseball, No. 22 by Perfect Game and No. 23 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Troy is one of just 11 teams and the ONLY mid-major team in college baseball to have been ranked every week from Preseason to Week 10 in the D1Baseball Top 25.
📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Dozen Dubs. After earning their historic achievement earlier this week, the 15th-ranked Troy baseball team poured on the offense early and held on late to pick up a 12-10 victory over Alabama State on Tuesday night.
Five different Trojans had multi-hit nights as Troy piled up 11 hits in the win, led by HRs from Brooks Bryan and Gavin Schrader.
With ASU climbing back, the Trojans turned to Colby Frieda, who delivered back-to-back scoreless frames to close out the 29th victory of the season for Troy.

🔼 Closing Time. It’s closing time for the Troy men’s golf team as they tee it up in the third round of the Sun Belt Men’s Golf Championship in Madison, Miss.
The 48th-ranked Trojans enter the final round of stroke play tied with Louisiana for the fourth and final spot in match play.
Both teams shot 3-over on Tuesday after entering the round tied for fourth following rounds of 2-under on Monday. The Trojans and Cajuns are five shots back of Georgia Southern for third after the Eagles made a move with a 4-under on Tuesday, while Texas State is a shot back in sixth place after posting the low round of the day with a 7-under.
Brantley Scott and Jake Springer shot even to lead the Trojans in the second round, as Scott carded three birdies and three bogeys, while Springer had a bogey on the 14th and a birdie on the 15th.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is senior reliever Colby Frieda, who held off a charging Alabama State squad with back-to-back scoreless innings to close out the victory on Tuesday night. In total, Frieda tossed three innings, allowing just two hits and one earned run, while striking out three. On the year, Frieda has appeared in 17 games, tossing 28.2 innings of work with a 3.14 ERA and a 2-0 record out of the pen for Troy.

Troy Athletics, the Troy Alumni Association and Troy Admissions announced Troy's seven stops for the annual Trojan Tour presented by Guardian Credit Union on Monday afternoon. This year's event features visits to Troy, Ozark, Dothan, Enterprise, Montgomery, Birmingham and Luverne.
Various Troy coaches and administrators, including Director of Athletics Brent Jones, football head coach Gerad Parker, men's basketball head coach Scott Cross, women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby and baseball head coach Skylar Meade will be featured across Trojan Tour.
Admission to all Trojan Tour socials is free; however, the baseball game in Montgomery will require a game ticket to be purchased, and some locations will require separate food purchases.
