🔼 Feelin’ Grand. The Troy Baseball squad picked up its third straight Sun Belt series win and did so in unbelievable fashion.

Down 9-3 entering the final three innings of Sunday’s rubber match, the Trojans outscored Louisiana 12-2 to close the game, including a walk-off grand slam by Jimmy Janicki to give Troy a 15-11 series-clinching victory.

By taking two-of-three from the Ragin’ Cajuns, Troy moves into a tie for second-place in the league standings with Southern Miss at 11-7 in conference action.

The Trojans had an incredible T-Day experience as the community enjoyed a jam-packed day, including a team brunch, youth camp, yard sale, and oh yeah, some football!

The Trojans capped off its spring camp with the annual T-Day Spring Game. The offense picked up the win, defeating the defense, 38-19, in the simulated gameday environment.

🔼 Spring Sweepin’. With less than a month until the Sun Belt Tournament, the Troy Softball team grabbed a crucial sweep over the weekend, taking all three from Georgia Southern.

Troy hurlers allowed just six runs in the three games with victories of 5-1 on Friday, 6-3 on Saturday and 4-2 on Sunday.

With two regular season series remaining, the Trojans sit in sixth-place with prime position to advance to the 10-team postseason.

🔼 What A Run. The historic season of the Troy men’s tennis team came to a close on Sunday as the Trojans fell to #54 Old Dominion in the Sun Belt Championship match, 4-1.

The Trojans finished the season 24-5, marking the program's most wins since 2015 - the last time Troy reached the Sun Belt Championship match. 

For their efforts over the weekend, multiple Trojans earned All-Tournament Team honors. 

Yeray Andrés Pastor was recognized on Court 3, while Luciano Alcocer and Hiiro Sakamoto were selected at the No. 2 doubles position. Additionally, Andrés Pastor received the Elite Award, presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA among the championship match participants. 

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is senior two-way standout Drew Nelson. Nelson helped Troy stage a dramatic comeback for the series win against Louisiana. At the plate, the Troy, Ala. native went 6-for-11 at the plate with four runs scored and five RBIs on the weekend, while on the mound, he picked up his second win of the season, tossing the final two innings of Sunday’s series clincher.
