📈 STOCK UP
🔼 All Tuned Up. Playing in a field that included three of the top programs in the country, the Troy men’s golf team proved once again it belongs in the conversation.
Taking on the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship in West Point, Mississippi, the Trojans finished tied for third with #32 Mississippi State at five-under for the week, just one shot behind #15 Alabama. #3 Ole Miss ran away with the team title.
The Trojans, who entered the week ranked No. 53 in the country, shot 6-under in each of the first two rounds and tuned in a 7-over on Tuesday (third-best round of the day).
Brantley Scott continued his torrid spring, finishing in a tie for 10th place at 2-under for the week after shooting 2-over on Tuesday. Scott, who missed last week with illness, will enter the Sun Belt Championship under-par for the year.
Troy played steady golf throughout the week, leading the field with 189 pars and finishing with the second fewest bogeys or worse (39).

🔼 On The Prowl. The Troy women’s golf team is on the prowl entering today’s third round of the Sun Belt Championship.
The top four teams after the first three rounds advance to Thursday’s match play, with the semifinals and finals taken place tomorrow.
Leading the way is Victoria Stutts, who sits in eighth place overall, as the Trojans are just two shots back of the fourth and final match play spot.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is once again, senior standout Brantley Scott of the Troy men’s golf squad. Competing amongst a field that featured some of the nation’s best collegiate golfers, Scott grabbed yet another top-10 finish, shot a 2-under at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship to help the Trojans to a third place team finish.
