🔼 How Sweep It Is. A dominant weekend in the circle propelled the Troy softball team to a HUGE three-game sweep of Georgia State in Sun Belt action.
Playing at home for the first time in a month, the Trojans used three consecutive complete games, two from Abby Lovell and one from Ella Cunningham to pick up wins of 3-1, 4-2 and 2-1 over the Panthers.
The pair of hurlers allowed just three earned runs over 21 innings of work, scattering 14 hits and striking out 22.

🔼 Nine Is Fine. The month of March has treated the Troy men’s tennis team quite well.
The Trojans rolled to three victories this past weekend to extend its win streak to nine, taking down Jackson State (4-0), Alcorn State (7-0) and Mississippi Valley State (5-0).
Dating back to March 7, Troy has swept seven consecutive opponents.

The Troy women’s tennis team defended home turf on the opening weekend of Sun Belt action, rallying for a 4-3 win over Texas State on Friday before rolling past Georgia State, 4-0, on Sunday.
With the pair of victories, the Trojans extended their win streak to four.
Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is freshman softball sensation Abby Lovell, who tossed not one, but TWO complete games in Troy’s weekend sweep of Georgia State. The Columbus, Ga., native scattered eight hits 14 innings of work, while striking out 19 Panther hitters.
