🔼 The Champs Live Here. Entering the final night of the regular season in a four-way tie for first place in the Sun Belt, the Troy men’s hoops team finished the evening as the outright regular season champions.

With the 80-65 victory over ULM, the Trojans clinched its second consecutive regular season title and will enter this week’s Sun Belt Tournament as the top seed and earn a bye into the semifinals.

The win gave Troy its 20th victory of the season, marking the fifth consecutive year the Scott Cross-led Trojans have reached the milestone. 

🔼 Tourney Time. Now that the regular season is wrapped up, it’s Tourney Time for the Troy Basketball squads. This week, the Trojans head to Pensacola to take on the Sun Belt Tournament gauntlet.

Both squads earned top-two seeds and advance automatically to the semifinals, scheduled for Sunday on ESPN2. The women will play at 2 pm, while the men will tip at 5 pm.

🔼 Roaring Loud. For the fourth time in the past five matches, the Troy men’s tennis added a tally in the win column, battling past North Alabama, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon.

With the match tied at 3-3, freshman Stephan Tavares Noale grinded his way to a three-set victory on court 5 to earn the win for the Trojans.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is junior Thomas Dowd, who registered his 16th double-double of the season with 22 points and 11 rebounds in Friday’s win over ULM to clinch the outright Sun Belt title.
