Troy men's basketball will be making its fourth all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday when the No. 13 Trojans take on No. 4 Nebraska in the South region, in Oklahoma City, Okla., at the Paycom Center. Tip time is set for 11:40am.

The appearance marks Troy's second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. In addition to this season's berth, the Trojans previously reached the NCAA Tournament in 2003, 2017 and 2025.

Head coach Scott Cross is set to make his third NCAA Tournament appearance as a head coach and second with Troy. Cross has led Troy to five-straight seasons of at least 20 overall wins and 10 Sun Belt wins – the only team to achieve the two feats in the conference during the span.

On Friday, the Sun Belt Conference put the finishing touches on next year’s docket, which features a pair of nationally televised games, the addition of Louisiana Tech to the league schedule and SBC home games against Southern Miss, Georgia Southern, ULM and La Tech.

The Trojans are coming off their third Sun Belt West Division title and Sun Belt Championship Game appearance in the last four years after winning eight games last season. 

🔼 History Makers. Fresh off a runner-up finish at the Sun Belt Tournament and regular season standings with 25 wins, the Troy women’s basketball team added another line to the resume on Sunday night.

The Trojans accepted their first-ever WBIT selection and will open the tournament on Thursday, March 19, against No. 2 Kansas in the Allen Fieldhouse. Tip time on ESPN+ is set for 6:30 pm.

It's Troy’s third straight postseason appearance after making it to the Fab 4 and championship game for the WNIT in back-to-back years.

🔼 Hear ‘Em Roar. Gotta love starting conference play with a series win.

The Troy Baseball team did just that, scoring 30 runs across three games to take two-of-three from visiting Old Dominion this past weekend at Riddle-Pace Field.

After dropping a tough opening game to the Monarchs, Troy bounced back with big time offensive performances, winning 13-4 on Saturday and 9-4 in the series finale. On the weekend, the Trojans pounded out 32 hits, including 13 of the extra-base variety.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, sophomore catcher Jimmy Janicki, who powered the Trojans offense to a series win over visiting ODU this past weekend. Janicki went 6-for-14 with seven RBIs and six runs scored to lead the way.
