Ain’t No Party Like A Trojan Party!

Troy Athletics is excited to host an NCAA Selection Show Watch Party this Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at Baumhower's Victory Grille to celebrate the Sun Belt champion men's basketball team.
 
The entire men's basketball program will be on hand beginning at 4 p.m. ahead of the 5 p.m. television broadcast on CBS. Free Sun Belt Championship mini posters will be available for fans to get autographs from their favorite Trojans. Both of Troy's Sun Belt trophies will be at the restaurant for fans to pose with, plus Troy Cheer and T-Roy will also be in attendance to help celebrate the evening.
 
The men's basketball team will take over the area located right inside the front doors of Baumhower's (Trojan Talk broadcasts location) so fans can easily access their favorite players and coaches for photos and autographs. Baumhower's features more than 60 TVs throughout the restaurant for easy viewing of the Selection Show.

🔼 No Egg Shortage Here. Eggs may be sparse and expensive for much of the country, but there’s plenty to go around for the Troy softball team.

Goose eggs that is.

On Wednesday, the Trojans picked up not one, but ✌️ shutout victories with a sweep of visiting Alabama A&M. That makes it five shutouts in the past six games for Troy and six in the past eight overall.

The victory runs Troy’s win streak to six and improves their overall record for the spring to 18-9 with Sun Belt Conference action on the horizon this weekend.

🔼 We Talkin’ About Practice. Phase I complete.

In a competitive two-hour session at The Vet, the Troy football program wrapped up its first two week phase of spring practice.

The session marked the first practice in full pads this spring and last workout before an 11-day hiatus for spring break.

🔼 Welcome Aboard. A defensive coaching veteran joined the Trojans this week as head coach Gerad Parker announced the addition of Brandon Cooper to the staff.

Cooper comes to Troy after spending the past three seasons at Samford. With the Trojans, he will over see the cornerbacks.

He has coordinator responsibility on his resume, serving as the defensive coordinator at Samford and Austin Peay, in addition to roles as co-defensive coordinator for three seasons at Charlotte and two seasons at Austin Peay.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is, sophomore southpaw Alyssa Faircloth. Coming off a no-hitter this past weekend against UMass, the Northport, Ala. native continued her hot streak with four more shutout innings against Alabama A&M on Wednesday. In her past 12 innings of work, Faircloth has allowed just two hits, one earned run and struck out 19 opposing hitters.

This past Friday, the completed 2025 Troy football slate was unveiled and we promise, you don’t want to miss any of these showdowns.

In addition to great action on the field, Troy will celebrate its 25^th anniversary of moving to the FBS level throughout the 2025 season, in addition to the 60^th anniversary of the Sound of the South.
