🔼 Lace ‘Em Up! We’re Dancing Again! That’s right, your Trojans are headed back to the Big Dance after a thrilling 77-61 victory over Georgia Southern in the 2026 Sun Belt Tournament Championship game.

Troy is the first repeat champion in the Sun Belt since 2018-19 (Georgia State) and will be making the program’s fourth NCAA Tournament bid in the Division I era.

The Trojans led for nearly the entire contest on Monday and holding multiple double-digit leads behind a 59-percent shooting performance. The Trojans dominated the glass, outrebounding the Eagles 35-17 for their third-largest rebounding margin against a Division I opponent this season. 

Thomas Dowd led the way with 23 points and 13 rebounds, recording his 17th double-double of the season. His dominant performance earned him the Sun Belt Championship's Most Outstanding Player award.

🔼 Punchin’ ‘Em Out. Behind a historic performance from Ella Cunningham in the circle, the Troy softball team took down Alabama State 6-1 on the road on Tuesday night.

Cunningham finished the game with 17 strikeouts, tying a school record, and became the first Trojan in recorded school history to strike out 12 batters in a row.

Cunningham's 17 punchouts tie Ashlyn Williams for the most in a game since at least 2009. Cunningham also fueled the Troy offense with a home run as part of a 2-for-4 game at the plate.

With NFL dreams on their minds, 19 Trojans laced ‘em up and put their skills on display for pro football executives from the NFL and CFL at Troy’s annual Pro Day on Tuesday afternoon.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is, of course, Thomas Dowd, the Most Outstanding Player at this year’s Sun Belt Conference Tournament. In his two games at this year’s tournament, he averaged 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, including a 23-point, 13-rebound performance in the title game.
