🔼 Mm Mm Good. The nation was introduced to Cooper Campbell on Saturday evening as the sophomore guard poured in 25 points to lead the Troy men’s basketball team to a thrilling 79-69 victory over Akron in the second part of the MAC-SBC Challenge.

Campbell went 10-of-15 from the field, including 5-for-7 from long range, including two defining long-range baskets that helped clinch the Trojans' victory.

Theo Seng added 15 points and grabbed four rebounds, while Thomas Dowd chipped in 14 points, eight rebounds and three assists on the night.

🔼 Grand Opening! Hopefully the lightbulbs at Troy Softball Complex can be bought in bulk because the Trojans were lighting up the scoreboard on opening weekend.

The Trojans pounded out 56 hits and 48 runs at the annual Trojan Classic as Troy rolled to a 4-1 start to the 2026 season.

Ella Cunningham led the way for the offensive attack with seven hits and seven RBIs on the weekend as five different Trojans racked up seven hits in the five games.

🔼 Gotta Have Faith. Senior Faith Jones of the Troy track & field squad is leaving it all on the track.

The veteran blistered the track at the UAB Invitational for a school record in the 60m hurdles to highlight the weekend for the Trojans.

Jones ran a personal best time of 8.48 to break the 18-year old record of 8.51, set by Monique Johnson in 2007. Jones ran a time of 8.64 in the prelims to advance to the final, where she placed second and moved up to No. 1 on Troy's all-time list.

🔼 Holding Court. It was a winning weekend for both Troy tennis programs as both the men and women picked up a victory on Saturday.

To get the action started, the men stepped on the courts at Kennesaw State and battled their way to a 4-2 victory over the Owls.

Shortly after, the women took to the home courts with a dominant 7-0 sweep of in-state foe, Alabama A&M.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is, of course, Cooper Campbell. Was there really any other choice? Campbell’s 26-point, five-assist performance led the Trojans to a national TV win over Akron on Saturday evening at Trojan Arena.

🤔 TROY TRIVIA

Cooper Campbell finished Saturday’s victory with 26 points, five assists and zero turnovers for the Trojans.

How many times this year has a player in the Sun Belt finished with a stat line of 25+ points, 5+ assists and zero turnovers?
