🔼 Springin’ Into Action. We are just over a month away from the return of the Trojans to the gridiron as Coach Parker and the Troy football program unveiled their spring practices dates leading into the 2026 season.
The spring season culminates with T-Day presented by The Vance Law Firm on Saturday, April 18, at The Vet.
Troy opens spring practice on Saturday, March 7, and the Trojans will practice three times before taking a week off for spring break. Parker's squad returns on Tuesday, March 24, and will practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday leading up to T-Day on April 18.
🔼 View From The Top. The climb took one more step up on Wednesday for Coach Rigby as her Troy women’s hoops team pulled away late to defeat App State, 69-59, and move within a half-game of the top spot in the Sun Belt standings.
With the victory, Rigby secured her 274th all-time at Troy to tie Joyce Sorrell for the most wins in program history.
Zay Dyer was dominant once again for Troy with 20 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks. She claimed her 15th double-double of the season to expand her lead in the conference.
Seated second in the league for double-doubles, Fortuna Ngnawo had her 13th on 10 points and 14 rebounds. With her two clutch 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, Emani Jenkins ended with 13 points as she became just the third-ever D-I player for Troy to hit 70 or more threes in a single season at 71.

🔼 Finishing Strong. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
That could’ve been the theme for the Troy men’s basketball squad, who bounced back after two tough losses last week to pull away in the second half en route to a 74-63 road victory over Georgia State.
Troy, who remains in first place in the Sun Belt at 16-8 overall and 9-3 in the league, used a dominant second half in which it scored 46 points and shot 56.7% (17-for-30) from the field to defeat the Panthers.
Thomas Dowd set the tone for the Trojans, finishing with 16 points and 15 rebounds, including a first-half double-double.
Four other Troy players scored in double figures, including Cobi Campbell (15), Jerrell Bellamy (12), Victor Valdes (12), and Cooper Campbell (10). Valdes also added nine assists.
🔼 They’re Backkk. It’s been nearly nine months since the Troy softball program stepped on the diamond.
That all changes today as Troy opens up its 2026 slate with a five-game weekend on the docket at the annual Trojan Classic.
The weekend features the opener against Middle Tennessee State this afternoon, along with two games against Chattanooga and a game apiece against North Alabama and Southern.
Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is, yet again, Zay Dyer of the Troy women’s hoops squad. Dyer was dominant on the inside, claiming her 15th double-double of the season with 20 points and 19 rebounds in Wednesday’s home win over App State.
