🔼 Brotherly Love. Four home games. Seven days. Four wins. Not too shabby, huh?
The Troy men’s hoops team closed out their homestand in decisive fashion, rolling past visiting ULM, 87-50. It was a game the Trojans dominated from the start, jumping out to a 32-8 lead just 15 minutes into the contest.
It was the brother duo of Myles and Marcus Rigsby who led the way, combining for 32 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Marcus had a team-high and career best 17 point effort, including five 3-pointers.
Tayton Conerway scored in double-figures yet again with 11, while also adding eight rebounds and five assists. He has now scored in double-figures in all 11 conference matchups.

🔼 All In This Together. Sometimes, it’s just better when we all come together.
That was the case for the Troy women’s hoops team who used a total team effort to return to the win column with an impressive 70-45 road victory at Southern Miss on Saturday.
Five Trojans finished in double-figures led by Briana Peguero and Emani Jenkins with 13 apiece. Ashley Baez had 11, while Fortuna Ngnawo and Brianna Jackson each scored 10 points for Troy. Jackson's 10 points extended her double-digit scoring onslaught to five as she was one rebound (9) from a double-double.
As they have all season, the Trojans cleaned the glass all day long, outrebounding Southern Miss, 58-28, including 22 offensive rebounds, which led to 22 second-chance points.

🔼 And Another One. For the second time in the past three weeks, Biniosa Ezukuse is bringing back some hardware.
The veteran thrower for the Troy track & field squad earned her second first-place finish in the past three weeks after earning the victory in the shot put to lead the Trojans’ effort at the South Alabama Invitational this past weekend.
In total, the Trojans picked up seven podium finishes, including six from the Troy women.

Today’s Trojan Top Performance, brought to you by Conecuh Sausage, is junior sharpshooter Marcus Rigsby Jr. from the men’s hoops squad. The Texas native had a career day in Saturday’s win over ULM, knocking down five 3-pointers en route to 17 points, a new career-high. He also added four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
